As a follow-up to INTRAC's 15th Anniversary Civil Society Capacity Building Conference, the May issue of Ontrac analyses in more depth the issues discussed in the Conference workshops. It poses provocative questions, asking whether the current preoccupation with good practice is a distraction from the underlying principles of implementing change and addressing global inequality.
With an analysis of the human factors needed to achieve change, the issue also provides examples of collective ownership and long-term organisational development to illustrate it's case.
