CB survey for NORAD

Jun 18 2007

INTRAC is supporting the survey below for 'capacity building that works'. This is the survey information from teh commissioned researchers, Scanteam.

Norway's Agency for Development Cooperation, Norad, has commissioned a study to identify Best Practice and Innovative examples of Capacity Development (CD) in Low-Income African countries. The cases should be from the public sector, in the fields of Health, Education, Water, Sanitation, and/or Energy.

The most important information source is an internet-based survey of stakeholders like yourselves who have experience in this field. What the survey asks, is for you to provide information on the best example of successful CD that you are aware of, and your explanation for why it succeeded.

We are encouraging all of you who have interesting examples to fill in the survey

The survey should take about 15 minutes, and should be done at the latest by Sunday 28 October.

Thanks to those of you who participate – we hope this may contribute to improving how capacity development is being supported in Africa.

Thank you very, very much for your time and support!
