Forced Migration Online FMO is a web-based portal of information resources on human displacement around the world. It is hosted by the University of Oxford's Refugee Studies Centre.

Global Social Change Project This website disseminates information to explain historical change, growth and development. Information is presented which looks at long term, large scale changes in social, political and economic systems at the national and international levels. It looks at how various political systems develop, and the emergence of different customs and social systems. It presents links to sites including: reports on major global socio-demographic and political change, theories and approaches, free data on population, economics, political systems, long term data, and some analysis of long term data research, profiles of countries or regions detailed history of countries and regions, relevant organizations.

GRET is a French-based professional Solidarity and International Cooperation Association. They are simultaneously a professional NGO, an associative consultancy firm, a delegated practitioner for public service missions, a site for the production and dissemination of knowledge and methods, and an interface between development players and development aid. The site contains excellent resources in French and English.

Metafro Infosys Matafro Infosys is the Metadata African Organisation - Information System. It is an information database, and disseminates information on Central Africa, including topics such as economics, politics, agriculture, and geology. The site provides information on projects, organisations, universities, publications, patents and products.

OneWorld UK The OneWorld Network is a fast-growing global community of people and civil society groups working for global justice. OneWorld UK website provides you with news, views, campaigns, events and jobs. It also acts as a gateway to our multimedia family: TV, Mobile and the Open Knowledge Network; as well as to the OneWorld Network. OneWorld UK also publishes a wide range of country and topic Guides produced by specialist volunteer editors from the north and south, and we have a fully searchable in-depth section with articles and content from global partners.

Policy Hub Policy Hub is a web-site developed by the UK Cabinet Office Strategy Unit which aims to improve the way public policy is shaped and delivered. It provides: tailored access to initiatives, projects and tools that support better policy making and delivery extensive guidance on the use of research and evidence in the evaluation of policy links to a wide range of research resources and tools from the UK and around the world.

Research4Development is DfID's portal for DfID-funded research. Topics include sustainable agriculture, killer diseases, climate change, weak states, capacity building, education etc.

Rural Finance Learning Centre is the information gateway for capacity building tools and distance learning training materials to support microfinance for rural areas.

Source is an international information support centre designed to strengthen the management, use and impact of information on health and disability.

Tanzania Socio-Economic Database (TSED) TSED is a comprehensive socio-economic database system that facilitates the systematic storage and analysis of performance indicators accross different themes as defined by the users. It does this through providing access to user-friendly analysis of data using tables, graphs, reports and maps. This covers the creation of global, regional, national and local maps, with upto 10 geographic levels in Tanzania, East Africa.

World Bank Research This part of the World Bank's website provides an overview as well as a searchable database of research conducted at the World Bank. The website lists links to the most recent World Bank studies. Furthermore it is possible to search the database using the following variables: topic, type of publication, research programme, region, country.
In addition the website links to the different research programme websites including: agriculture, education, governance, health & population, poverty, and social development. The website also provides links to several major research publications of the World Bank, which have been published in the last year.
