Chris Wardle

Chris Wardle has over twenty five years experience working with NGOs in Africa and Central Asia. He has advised regional Water and Rural Development Projects on working with local communities and local NGOs. He has assisted NGOs conduct organisational reviews and draw up their strategic plans. Chris has designed and delivered a range of training courses to help strengthen the capacity of NGOs in Africa and Central Asia and has evaluated a wide range of NGO led initiatives including agricultural, rural and community development projects.

Over the past 25 years, he has worked in almost two thirds of the countries in Africa and four of the five countries in Central Asia. Clients have included multilateral organisations (World Bank, EU, UNDP) and many NGOs (including Oxfam, Accord, COTA, Self Help International Development), Concern Worldwide, Novib and SOS Faim. He has been an INTRAC Associate for almost twenty years.
