John Cammack

John Cammack works as an independent trainer, consultant and writer in NGO financial management.

He was head of international finance at Oxfam GB and senior lecturer in accounting and financial management at Oxford Brookes University. John has wide experience of working internationally with development and relief agencies, including the Aga Khan Foundation, Amnesty International, British Overseas NGOs for Development, European Commission, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Oxfam GB and VSO. He has been an Intrac associate for 14 years.

John works with organisations to design training to suit individual needs for NGO partners, staff and trustees. All courses are participatory and provide practical tools. They are supported by clear learning materials. Courses include building capacity through financial management, financial management for non-specialists, and training financial trainers. His consultancy work includes reviewing and building NGO financial management capacity, and coaching individuals in financial management.

John is a professionally qualified accountant and teacher. He has an MBA from Brunel University and an MSc in International Development Management from the Open University. www.johncammack.net
