Elsa Dawson
Elsa Dawson is an international development adviser specialising in integrating gender in development programmes and organisations, NGO capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, strategic planning and disability issues.
She has a Masters degree in Development Studies from the University of East Anglia, and was a Visiting Fellow at IDS. She has conducted gender audits, evaluations of gender related programmes, and designed monitoring and impact evaluation systems with a focus on gender.
Elsa was responsible for Save the Children’s programme in Peru for eight years, Gender Adviser to Oxfam in South America for two years, and a member of Oxfam's programme support unit in Oxford for ten years. As well as being an Associate of INTRAC, she is Champion for their Praxis Gender and Diversity Programme.
