Organisational and programme learning

Recent work:

  • INTRAC’s programme in Central Asia recently ran another series of its ‘analytical skills development’ modular courses. Participating NGOs attend a series of workshops over a nine month period, and produce a piece of research based on the issues facing their target groups. Participants are accompanied and mentored whilst producing the research, and present their findings at a final workshop attended by a wide range of actors, including representatives from the state, the media, and other civil society groups.
  • In 2008, INTRAC carried out a training of the senior leadership (staff and board) of a large international charity based in the Middle East, which runs international programmes. The training covered current thinking and trends in civil society globally and led into a discussion of priorities for the charity in its future development.
