INTRAC workshop: Accountability Without Impact? UK, 2010
INTRAC's November 2010 NGO Research Forum consisted of a one-day open workshop on monitoring and evaluation followed by a second day of meetings for forum members only. Practitioners and thinkers from across the European development sector engaged in stimulating discussion around monitoring, evaluation and impact.
International Conference: Whatever happened to civil society? The Netherlands, 2008
INTRAC's international conference gathered 140 participants from over 40 countries for three days of examples of civil society activity, debates on the nature and future of civil society, food for thought and new insights.
Counter-Terrorism Measures and Development Workshops 2006-2007
INTRAC organised a series of workshops on the effects of counter-terrorism measures (CTMs) on NGOs in Europe, South Asia, Central Asia and the Middle East, supported by a number of NGOs, including ICCO and Cordaid.
Civil Society and Capacity Building Conference, UK 2006
This international conference focused on the changing environment for civil society capacity building, with 49 different countries represented. Issues explored included: shifting paradigms in development aid, impact of aid orthodoxies on civil society, and enabling and constraining factors of capacity building.
6th Evaluation Conference, The Netherlands 2006
This conference examined the monitoring and evaluation of issues such as advocacy, capacity building, networking, civil society development, humanitarian work, PRSP processes, gender mainstreaming and conflict prevention. The agenda was formed from debates raised in regional workshops that have been held in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America.

- Asia Monitoring and Evaluation Workshop, India
Civil Society and Community Development Conference, Jordan 2005
The aim of the conference was to open up the debate on the issue of community development and the resurgence of interest, on the part of international bi-lateral and multi-lateral agencies, in involvement in grassroots development initiatives.
5th Evaluation Conference, The Netherlands 2003
The conference aimed to examine the tensions created by the pursuit of performance assessment alongside the encouragement of beneficiary based evaluations.
