You clicked on Help because you want to know more about how this works. Yes? OK, good!
So what is happening here?
The Praxis Interchange, has special qualities. In the Interchange you can add text, click Save, and publish your contribution instantly. Some time later someone else may come to the page, read what you have written and edit it. They may also add further information, improve the page layout, or correct your spelling. If this happened, the next time you visited the page, you may find it changed. You may even find they had translated your page in to a different language. (As the Praxis Programme Manager I certainly hope a lot of people will do this!)
So the interchange pages are different from normal web pages. It is called a collaborative authoring system.
Get your bearings
Have a quick look round the page and see the layout - at the top of the page there is an active menu (which you will use); at the bottom of the page there are handy editing tips and links to information like recent changes and page history. Contents for the section appear in a box on the right. A list of languages which this page has already been translated into can be found in the left hand column.
How is it done?
Our developers built the interchange using something called Wiki software. But that is background information and what you would like to know, is how you can get started. How can you add text, make edits, start a new page, or translate contributions by others?
There are two options -
Option 1 - Beginners Guide - Click here for all the information you will need to carry out essential formatting and edits.
Option 2 - Comprehensive Help - Click here for full and comprehensive help information.
