The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning online course will strengthen your skills in supporting monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) of projects and programmes from programme design through to evaluation and impact assessment, and help you to tackle MEL challenges that you may be facing. This course is particularly suitable for early career practitioners or for those who have recently become responsible for implementing MEL plans.
The course is designed in such a way to encourage interaction and peer learning, both during the live sessions and through INTRAC online learning platform, and it also includes an individual coaching session to help participants apply the learning to their work.
The online MEL provides approximately 25 hours of training over 5 weeks and consists of a blend of ‘real time’ interactive live sessions led by our highly experienced trainers, individual activities and personal feedback from the trainer, collaborative group work, opportunities to interact with participants on the course through discussion forums on the INTRAC learning platform, and individual coaching to enab le attendees to apply the learning to their work.
This course provides flexibility and enables you to take part in an INTRAC course with others without travelling. The timing of the live sessions is 1pm GMT. Sessions are recorded and made available on our e-learning platform, so you can view them in your own time if you can’t join live. For more details on the course content and dates of the live sessions, please download the course profile below.
The course was great. I loved having two different trainers at different stages, the individual session was so useful and [the training assistant’s] stellar support was essential. Very professional and well delivered, the content was well structured and group activities well targeted. Some good discussions started, which I wish we were able to continue, but I feel like I learned a lot. Course participant (May-June 2018)
Wonderful, engaging, well-structured course, tailored to different learning styles! It is truly motivating to see that at INTRAC the years of experience, learning and research in training have clearly informed the way courses are structured. Course participant (January-February 2018)
