The course is held twice a week (Wednesday and Thursday) over 5 weeks. Each live session starts at 13:00 PM UK time and lasts for 90 minutes. The training consists of a blend of ‘real time’ interactive live sessions led by our highly experienced trainers, individual and collaborative group activities during live sessions as well as on our e-learning platform, including individual coaching sessions.
This course provides flexibility and enables you to take part in an INTRAC course without travelling. Órla Cronin is an independent consultant, trainer and facilitator, working in the area of monitoring, evaluation, research and learning, as well as capacity development and strategic planning. She brings her expertise in social science research, and in facilitation, to support organisations in evaluating their progress and learning from their own experience. She has a PhD in Psychology (Southampton University), a BSc in Psychology (University College London) and a Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance (University of Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine). She is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Alison Carney is an independent consultant, facilitator, advocate and researcher in sport for development and social change since 2002. Alison has a Masters in Gender and International Development from the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex, UK, and a BA from Wellesley College, USA. Her research has been published in the International Review for the Sociology of Sport and Third World Thematics, as well as featured by the Institute of Development Studies.
Richard Ponsford is a senior consultant in monitoring, evaluation and learning with a passion for empowerment, partnership, data driven adaptation and capacity building. He has 12 years’ experience of working on development programmes across Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Richard holds a BA Economics and Politics from The University of Leeds, and MA International Development from the University of Manchester. He lives in Kampala, Uganda and has spent time living and working in Bangladesh and Ghana.
