Aline FiliotAline joined INTRAC in September 2016 as the training manager, overseeing INTRAC’s portfolio of open, in-house and online trainings. She has 17 years of field experience in training and international development acquired through various postings in Vietnam, Cambodia, the United States, Vanuatu and Rwanda.

Aline began her career as a teacher of French as a foreign language in Can Tho University in Vietnam. She has since worked as a pedagogical advisor in Cambodia for a French speaking university programme supported by the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie, and as a trainer and teacher’s trainer in the Alliance Française of Chicago. In the five years preceding her posting at INTRAC, she was a technical assistant and programme manager in a technical and vocational education support programme in Rwanda for APEFE, a Belgian organisation dedicated to skills development in developing countries. Her areas of expertise are education, curriculum development, training of trainers and e-learning.

Aline has a master’s degree in teaching French as a foreign language from the University of Rouen and a master’s degree in e-learning engineering from the University of Paris 3 Sorbonne Nouvelle. Her thesis was on the role of tutoring in shaping a learning community among e-learning students in Vanuatu.
