Jeanie joined INTRAC in June 2022. She is an experienced accountant, with specialist knowledge of the charity sector. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.
After completing a Social Policy degree at the University of Hull she enjoyed eighteen months exploring South East Asia and Australia, before returning to the UK to begin a career in finance.
Initially training and working in an accountancy practice, Jeanie moved to the not-for-profit sector where she has spent the majority of her career. Working in local government and charities, and alongside those providing mental health care, women’s services, probation and adult social care, Jeanie is passionate about seeing the organisations she is part of make very real and positive differences to peoples’ lives.
Jeanie believes the finance function should be a pro-active part of any organisation and enjoys shaping it to provide the best possible support for achieving the chosen aims and objectives.
Jeanie lives in the Ribble Valley with her four children. She is a fitness enthusiast and keen reader.
