Bethany Salmon

Trustee

Bethany is the Head of People and Workplace at Saffron Housing Trust, a housing association based in Norfolk providing affordable housing across East Anglia. With nearly two decades of HR experience in the not-for-profit sector, she has supported organisations with a wide range of people strategies and transformational change. She has a particular interest in employee relations, talent management, and equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). 

At Saffron, she leads the implementation of the people strategy, focusing on fostering a culture of engagement, inclusion, and high performance. In her previous roles, she has led initiatives to improve employee wellbeing, leadership development, and organisational culture, all aimed at enhancing organisational performance through the employee experience. 

Having focused her career on creating impactful, sustainable change at a local level, Bethany was drawn to INTRAC’s mission of supporting civil society organisations globally and the ability to contribute to further-reaching initiatives that align with her values of inclusivity, equity, and social impact. 

Bethany holds a BSc in Psychology and is set to complete an MBA at Keele University later this year. She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
