
Chris leads INTRAC’s fundraising and partnerships strategy, driving new income streams and cultivating strategic relationships that align with INTRAC’s mission to strengthen civil society worldwide. Chris has held critical fundraising roles at organisations including World Vision UK, ActionAid UK, and VSO. His work has spanned high value fundraising and strategic partnerships, with a consistent focus on systemic impact.
Before joining INTRAC, Chris served as Head of New Business at World Vision, where he led corporate, trust, and foundation fundraising teams and contributed to organisational strategy as part of the Operational Leadership Team. At ActionAid, he developed private sector partnerships to advance gender equality, women’s economic empowerment, and humanitarian response. Prior to that, he spent eight years at VSO in various roles, including Global Partnerships Advisor, where he championed equitable volunteering and partnership models across multiple regions.
Chris holds a master’s degree in Religion in Peace and Conflict from Uppsala University, passed with distinction, and is currently pursuing a Professional Doctorate in Policy Research and Practice at the University of Bath’s Institute for Policy Research. His doctoral research explores tensions within the decolonisation of INGO advocacy, reflecting his broader commitment to equity, power-shifting, and reflective practice in global development.
Chris has completed training with The Partnering Initiative and the Whitehall & Industry Group’s Future Leaders Programme, and brings a deep commitment to ethical fundraising, feminist values, and inclusive approaches to change.
