Support our campaign and build a legacy of Knowledge for All

Your chance to support our campaign to maintain and extend our legacy of knowledge products on civil society practice that are free for all

Accessible, high-quality knowledge products are essential to the development of a thriving civil society sector that is able to deliver just, equitable and sustainable societies for all. That is why for nearly 35 years, INTRAC has been creating blogs, toolkits, papers, and open events. In that time, we have freely shared over 500 resources, all rooted in and a part of our practical support to civil society around the world.

During our October 2025 event on ethical and values-driven consultancy, we announced a new INTRAC campaign: Knowledge for All. By becoming a founding donor, you can help us to maintain, build on, and extend our legacy of knowledge products made freely available for civil society practitioners and organisations.

How your donation will help

  • Your donation will help INTRAC meet the costs of maintaining our huge library of resources. Built up over more than three decades, the resource library is a treasure trove of knowledge products developed by and for civil society practitioners
  • Your gift will invest in the development of new resources, capturing transformative learning from our staff, network members, and friends from across the sector. All of this material will be made available to all, free of charge, with your support
  • Your gift will continue to undertake new translations of existing publications like the unique M&E Universe. Together, we can make these resources available to more people, in more places, than ever before.

Some key resources we’re proud of

  • Consultants as Connectors: this recent guest short paper by Allan Moolman explores the unique role played by consultants in ecosystems of civil society support, using biological metaphors to express the way they transfer knowledge in our sector.
  • Strengthening Small Organisations with Big Ambitions toolkits: a set of five toolkits intended primarily for small organisations. Practical advice on advocacy, strategic planning, partner capacity strengthening, MEL, and exiting and transitioning from partnerships.
  • The M&E Universe: originally launched in 2019 and still in active development, the M&E Universe is our flagship M&E resource. 120 free, short papers on a wide variety of practical topics. 16 papers, the entire Planning section, are now available in French, Spanish, and Bahasa Indonesia.
