In the lead up to Concern Worldwide’s strategic plan, INTRAC produced a paper on INGO Futures, which examined future scenarios in a time of great flux in the sector. This was presented at a meeting of Concern’s Country Directors, Senior Staff and Council Members and helped set the agenda for subsequent strategic discussions.
When the strategic planning process was under way, INTRAC provided the CEO of Concern Worldwide with an outside perspective to help steer thinking on Concern’s developing strategic plan. This took the form of: face to face meetings, skype meetings, email exchange and reviewing documents as they were developed.
Once the strategy was completed, INTRAC was asked to research and produce recommendations on the different possible models for managing country programmes.
