This joint publication is based on critical reflections on a variety of approaches to the development of organisational development practitioners. The book is primarily aimed at readers who work as donors and have an interest in applying creative ways of developing and supporting an organisation development consultancy resource. The case studies under examination are drawn from the experience of CDRA (Community Development Resource Association South Africa), CORAT (The Christian Organisations Research and Advisory Trust of Africa), and INTRAC. The reflections result in suggestions not only for facilitators in this area of work, and NGO support organisations, but also in key questions for organisations considering funding this work.
