Jo is the Chief People Officer at IC24, a social enterprise based in the south and east of England delivering 111 and Clinical Assessment Services on behalf of the NHS. IC24 has 1000 employees delivering services across a wide geography and, during her time with them, she has led programmes to establish their employer and organisational brand, cultural change such as wellbeing, inclusion and belonging, organisational change programmes, improving employee relations and improving their approach to development through a Talent Management programme. Jo leads the People and Culture team who have demonstrated their success incrementally improving what it is like to work for the organisation; they achieved a South East Times Top 100 place and Kent region CIPD HR Team of the Year.

Prior to IC24, Jo worked for organisations such as the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Saga and Tesco and brings a wealth of private and not for profit sector experience to the INTRAC board.

Jo is a Fellow of the CIPD and has a BSC in Social Sciences and a MSC in Human Resource Management. Jo is a true generalist, recognising that the success of every organisation depends on its people and how we work together to achieve the organisation’s mission. She has a particular interest in leadership, cultural change, talent management and inclusion.
