Lily has worked in international development for five years. She specialises in designing, delivering, and scaling government-funded, multi-million-pound programmes that aim to readdress power imbalance within the development sector.
Since 2019, she has led the implementation of Restless Development’s flagship programme, the Development Alternative. Working in Madagascar and Uganda, Lily supports young people to use technology to hold development actors to account. Previously she was based in Cambodia on behalf of GVI. Here she established a new hub, securing local and international partnerships and designing and implementing programmes to improve access to education for young women.
She is passionate about changing the way the sector works to ensure it is led by the communities it serves.
