Cornelius MurombedziCornelius is a Consultant and Development Practitioner active in international development for the last 20 years. His expertise is in strategic planning, strategic and organisational reviews, programme management, monitoring and evaluation, training, mentorship and coaching. Cornelius worked as Principal Consultant at INTRAC and in that capacity, provided expertise in strategic reviews, capacity strengthening, monitoring and evaluation to strengthen effectiveness of international NGOs and partners’ initiatives in support of millennium development goals.

As an independent consultant, he has supported the development of civil society, at national level, to strengthen their role as an important actor in service delivery and in enhancing transparency and good governance. Cornelius has been a lead consultant in capacity building and conducting evaluation assignments for a number of development agencies and INGOs.

Cornelius consultancy experience is mainly in Africa covering the following regions and countries: East and Southern Africa Regions: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Lesotho and Namibia; West Africa region: Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Togo and Sierra Leone. Throughout his career and work in different countries and cultures, Cornelius has garnered exceptional skills to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Cornelius has an MBA (University of Zimbabwe), a Post-Graduate Diploma in Development Management (Open University, UK), B.Sc. Economics with Honours (Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone) and Bachelor of Arts, Sociology and Political Science (University of Zimbabwe).
