Jan works as a freelance consultant supporting organisational change and leadership development. Before going freelance she worked for more than twenty years in the not-for-profit sector, with most of this for Oxfam (in a number of different roles including senior management). She has a diverse educational background – scientist, management, artist – which combined with her experience gives her an unusual mix of skills, perspectives and knowledge.

Since first reading Frederick Laloux’s book “Reinventing Organizations” over a year ago, Jan has made this a focus in her work. Jan has a strong sense that something is profoundly ‘not working’ in very many organisations today, and that the development of a much greater, positive human potential is possible. She is looking for ways to enable this potential, and to help organisations become more inspiring, purposeful and effective. Helping to share these ‘reinventing’ ideas is an important part of her work.
